9/09/2016 · In Empire of Storms, I believe SJM’s strongest point was a tie between the world-building and the plot. Despite where we left off in the fourth book, most of Empire of Storms takes place beyond the Fae continents in places such as Skulls Bay and Ellywe.

Sarah J Maas has once again proved that she is a writing force and I love her for it even succeeding in making me love things I don’t normally care for.

Easily one of the most highly anticipated YA Fantasy releases of the year, Empire of Storms easily lived up to its lofty expectations. I am always a bit nervous when extremely hyped sequels are released because I fear they’ll be terrible disappointments, but Empire of Storms was actually fairly well done.
